Jessica Chobot on VG 24/7

Just a quick note to say that VideoGaming 24/7 have posted a wallpaper of a picture done by them of Jessica Chobot on VG 24/7 when VG 24/7 ran to Chobot during the unveil for Diablo III. Now, you have to admit Chobot is a prime example of gamer chicks in the gaming industry and will make you go Jade who?

Oh, and as for who I'd pick between her and Qore's Veronica Belmont in this apparent war between the two, Chobot wins by a country mile, no questions.

OUR BIG SURPRISE BEFORE E3 IS!!!

AN E3 BLOG!!!

Yes, its not that exciting but we think that in order to not plague the blog with E3 stuff on this side, we've made another blog on it. It's pretty bare to the bones right now with a crappy white layout but all should be fixed before we let you have a chance to give it a look when we launch it on Monday, 2 weeks to the day E3 is go when Microsoft host their pre-E3 conference although we havent had the timing yet for it (It had better not be like last year, I had to stay up until 4:30am before it finally started!!!)

Anyways, our E3 coverage will kick off Monday so check it out then. But I have one last thing to say.

When you type in www.gamzsonev3.blogspot.com, you wont be taken to this page (or if your reading this on the Members Blog, the main site). Thats because you'll be taken to the E3 blog, thats because while E3 is happening, we'll finally have our downtime during then and will have a new layout all ready for you and ready to go but that isn't the big surprise you got coming after E3, that'll come when the main site relaunches soon after E3 but a date as to when we'll be given during E3.

More to come soon.

Is Debating The Best Game Ever Controversial or Just Opinion?

Last week, in my review of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, I cited that the the game, which got 10/10, was one of the best games of all time taking it's place alongside such games as Final Fantasy VII, The Legend of Zelda: Ocerina of Time, Super Mario 64, Call of Duty 4, Grand Theft Auto III and many others such as Goldeneye for the Nintendo 64, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Resident Evil 4 and in my opinion, MGS4 has become the best game I've ever played.

However, a week after its release, it's already been cited as a game which has ousted even Final Fantasy VII citing that Hideo Kojima's finale to the Solid Snake saga doesnt with a whimper but it ends with a bang. And in my 10 years as a gamer (11 by christmas) since the PlayStation 1, nothing has caught my attention as such like Metal Gear Solid 4.

There has been a few such as Final Fantasy VII, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Grand Theft Auto III Vice City and IV, God of War 1 & 2, Gears of War, Final Fantasy X plus more that I cant think of but no game has grabbed me violently and got me so intereted into game in my life then MGS4.

But is really citing some games as the best of all time (FF VII, Zelda, Goldeneye, MGS4 as such) really an opinion or controversial? A couple of nights ago, I was talking to a friend on MSN about it as such because she started off the conversation with "Hi, just out of curiousity, have you ever played World of Warcraft"

In my personal opinion, i've never ever EVER liked World of Warcraft. I personally find it overated and if I ever see anybody who spend there entire life playing that game to a certain extent like the guy who played WoW from the South Park episode based on WoW (It's actually a good episode, I highly recomend it), I'll personally dothe great honor of shooting them.

I've said to people that whoever plays World of Warcraft like that need shot. I dont mind the casual players on it as long as they go out and have a social life. 2-3 hours at least a day, go to work, go to the pub and then go to bed. Simple but if anybody is living their life like the person from South Park (Once again, I throughly recomend that episode, it's damn bloody good), they need shot.

Anyways, one thing led to another and I said that MGS4 was much better then WoW but she then said you cant compared WoW to MGS4 as the best game ever as they both the best games ever in their genre like Final Fantasy VII for RPG's, MGS4 for Tactical Espionage Action (I was surprised she resided that even I couldnt remember a thing like that from a boxart) and WoW for MMO's.

Was she right? i dont know, we must talk about it again soon. I was also asked to talk about MGS4 on Ryan's live internet show tonight but I couldnt not come as I was reviewing Singstar Vol 2 for the PS3 (Check the review for that sometime over the weekend) but Ryan, just a quick note to you via here. Ask me again and I may just be able to do it for you as long as it aint next week, thats Brawl week.

Anyways, the point is no matter how much you look at it, there probably will never be a definitive best game of all time as sad as it is as there are some strong contenders out there who could easily take that massive crown of best game ever.

But for know, we all have our opinions. Ryan's favourite game of all time is Goldeneye, Brendan's is..is...thats right, he's never told me or Ryan! And you'd think he had have told us by now while going to school together a couple of years ago. And of course, my favourite is Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. Bu the question is, what is yours? Well, leave us a comment below.

Radiohead - Live @ Malahide Castle

They were just too fucking great, seriously. I only have like 2 photos scanned (I have more photos but thats the amount I have done) but I have 3 videos on my YouTube and do be aware that 2 of them has my atrochious singing xD

I can sing alright but it gets highpitched when either I'm hyper or trying to impress (Maybe I was trying to impress Thom Yorke?)

Anyways...

EDIT: Photos wont work on here when linked through Photobucket via Safari, same for directly uploading from the computer.

Back Folks

Well, hallo folks.

Well, I'm back from Dublin (I was back on Sunday night but I was too tired to come on after a 4 hour bus trip from Dublin to Derry and I have a head cold which prevented me from coming on yesterday...that and IE/Firefox are being bitches...thank christ for Safari) and I have a couple of photos and vids from Radiohead (I only have one scaned though but I have a couple of videos on my YouTube)

Anyways, I'll give them to you soon in a seperate blog post but for now, back to what we have planned between now and E3.

Well, my internet has now been back for a while which means I'm now back online for good again and me and Brendan had our first online game since early January playing Grand Theft Auto IV and Team Fortress 2 (The Orange Box) last night, it was all good fun.

And that now means, starting from Friday in our MGS4 review, Metal Gear Online (2) will be the first game to be reviewed for its online features.

Speaking of our Metal Gear Solid 4 review, we'd like to take this chance to say that although we will try to detail the game as much as possible, it will not have any major story spoilers in the review (e.g. Does Snake die? Who really are The Patriots?)

As well as that, we will be reviewing for the first time on Gamzsone V3...Arcade Games...well...when we say Arcade games, we mean stuff from Xbox Live Arcade as well as the games from the Wii Shop Channel and WiiWare. The first games under review are Penny Arcade Episode One for the Xbox 360 and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King from the WiiWare for the Nintendo Wii.

Plus, our compromensive review line-up for Juneis slam packed with goodys such as our review of MGS4 but as well as Alone in the Dark for the Xbox 360 and at long last, our long awaited review of Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Nintendo Wii

And finally, our E3 coverage. We will be giving live text throughout E3 Week as well as uploading our Flickr and YouTube pages with content as well as putting together highlights of the Big 3's Press Conference where we expect Microsoft to hold another late conference (UK Time) unveiling Peter Jackson's Halo Project, Nintendo coming up with some other gimmick for the Wii and Sony to properly unveil inFamous as well as give us new info on Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 (No Eight Days and The Getaway 3 though, they've recently been cancelled)

However, if they dont come up with big surprises during E3 (There will be one at least from one of them), we certainly will as we have a big surprise lined up for you after E3 so get some pairs of knickers, you'll be needing them in the next month.
